CloudTalk vs Kixie

BY TOOLSRAY · UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2026

// THE VERDICT

The biggest difference between these two is not a feature, it is transparency. CloudTalk publishes four per-user tiers in euros and prices every add-on. You can build a budget before you speak to anyone. Kixie publishes no plan prices at all and says your plan depends on which countries you call and which features you want, so every comparison ends in a sales call. Choose CloudTalk if you want to know the number today, and Kixie if you are willing to negotiate for a dialer built around US outbound.

Both of these are sales dialers that sit on top of a CRM, and on features they overlap heavily. What actually separates them when you are choosing is that one of them will tell you the price and the other will not.

What each one costs, as far as it is published

CloudTalk publishes four tiers, per user, in euros. Lite is EUR19 a month billed annually or EUR27 monthly. Starter is EUR25 annual, EUR34 monthly. Essential is EUR29 annual, EUR39 monthly. Expert is EUR49 annual, EUR69 monthly. The first three have a minimum of one licence.

Expert requires a minimum of three licences, which is the number most comparisons miss. The popular tier is not EUR49 a month, it is EUR147 at the smallest size CloudTalk will sell.

Kixie publishes no plan prices. We checked its pricing page, its plans page and two other variants on 9 September 2026. The tiers are named (a Professional plan, a Single-Line PowerDialer and a Multi-Line PowerDialer that dials up to four lines at once) but no figures appear, and Kixie's own FAQ says the plan depends on which countries you call and which features you use.

The add-ons decide the bill, and they are priced very differently

On CloudTalk the dialers are add-ons. The Power Dialer is EUR15 per user a month, though it is already inside Expert. The Parallel Dialer, which calls up to ten numbers at once, is EUR39 per user a month on top of any plan. AI Conversation Intelligence is EUR9 per user a month, and AI Voice Agents start at EUR99 for 200 minutes.

On Kixie the dialer is the plan tier, and the add-on that matters is minutes. Unlimited US and Canada minutes cost $30 per user a month. Without it, minutes are billed as used. Texting is $0.011 a message for 10DLC-registered numbers, which is $11 per thousand. Your first US or Canada number is free and each extra local number is $5 a month.

So the shape of the two bills is opposite. CloudTalk charges you more for a better dialer and bills minutes by destination. Kixie charges you for the dialer inside the plan and sells domestic minutes as a flat per-seat fee.

Working the numbers for a three-person outbound team

On CloudTalk, with published prices, you can do this arithmetic yourself. Three seats on Expert at EUR49 is EUR147 a month billed annually, and Expert already includes the Power Dialer. If you want parallel dialing across ten lines, add EUR39 per user, so EUR264 a month in total, or about EUR3,168 a year.

On Kixie you cannot do this arithmetic at all until you have a quote. What you can price is the part that is published: three seats of unlimited US and Canada minutes at $30 is $90 a month, and 10,000 texts a month is another $110. So $200 a month sits on top of whatever seat price you are given.

When you take the Kixie call, ask for the seat price, the contract length and whether minutes are included, then add that $200 before comparing it to CloudTalk's EUR264.

Which should you choose?

Choose CloudTalk if…

  • You want a published price you can budget against
  • You need parallel dialing across up to 10 numbers at once
  • You are outside the US and call across many countries
  • You want to start with one licence rather than a team

Choose Kixie if…

  • Your calling is almost entirely US and Canada
  • You want unlimited domestic minutes as a flat per-user add-on
  • You are buying for a sales floor and will negotiate anyway
  • Texting volume is high and $0.011 a message suits you

// WHAT WE WOULD DO

What we would do. If you are a small team that wants to start today without a sales call, CloudTalk is the straightforward choice, and Lite at EUR19 a user is a real starting point rather than a teaser. If you run a US sales floor with heavy outbound and you were going to negotiate anyway, get the Kixie quote, but insist on the seat price in writing and add the $30 per user for minutes before you compare.

One warning that applies to both: CloudTalk's Expert tier needs three licences and Kixie's pricing depends on your calling countries. Neither is a product you can accurately budget from a comparison table alone, including this one.

Frequently asked

Which is cheaper, CloudTalk or Kixie?

CloudTalk publishes EUR19 per user per month on annual billing as its entry tier. Kixie does not publish plan prices, so the honest answer is that you cannot compare them without a Kixie quote.

Does CloudTalk have a free trial?

The pricing page ends in Contact Sales on every tier rather than a self-serve signup, so expect a conversation rather than an instant trial.

How much are Kixie's minutes?

Unlimited US and Canada minutes are an add-on at $30 per user per month. Without it, minutes are billed at current rates as used.

Which has the stronger dialer?

CloudTalk's Parallel Dialer calls up to ten numbers at once for EUR39 per user per month. Kixie's Multi-Line PowerDialer calls up to four. On published capability CloudTalk dials wider, but Kixie's tiers are built around US connection rates.

Is there a minimum number of seats?

CloudTalk sells Lite, Starter and Essential from a single licence, but Expert has a three-licence minimum. Kixie does not publish a minimum.
