TaxDome free trial: there isn't one, and here is what a seat actually costs

If you came looking for a TaxDome free trial, the honest answer is that the pricing page does not offer one. Every tier ends in a Request demo button, and every price is quoted per seat per year with a multi-year commitment.

Essentials is $800 a year per seat on a 1-year commitment, $750 on 2 years and $700 on 3. It is solo users only. Pro is $1,000, $950 and $900 per seat per year on the same three commitments. Business is $1,200, $1,150 and $1,100.

So the shortest commitment you can make on the cheapest tier is $800 for a year, paid for a full year. That is a different kind of decision from a monthly SaaS subscription, and it is why the demo exists.

The clever part of the pricing is the seasonal seat, and it is worth knowing before tax season. On a yearly Pro plan you can add temporary staff at $100 a month per seat. On a yearly Business plan seasonal seats are $500 per seat for a four-month term, and TaxDome says they auto-renew on the firm's unified renewal date. Read that second one carefully: a seat you added for one season keeps renewing unless you act.

TaxDome also offers payment plans once the invoice passes $9,000, which tells you the size of firm the Business tier is aimed at.
